1. Staff develop for academic and non-academic staff should be improved.
2. Quality assurance structures exist at the University level but has not been deployed at the faculty and departmental level.
3. Staff offices should be renovated, and more spaces provided.

 

1. The University should prioritise staff development programmes and key into local and international opportunities for the programme.
2. The department should set up Internal Quality assurance structures at the lower levels.
3. Better space and improved staff offices.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.8%. It scored 37 (94.6%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (77%) in Staffing, 27 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
