1. Some students enrolled into programme did not meet the admission requirement
2. Non-teaching staff (technical staff) did not benefits from the staff development programme
3. Space in the laboratory is inadequate
4. Space in the classrooms is inadequate and no public addressing system
5. E resources materials in the library (e-books and journals) are in adequate in number
6. No evidence of collaboration between the university and outside world

 

1. The university should ensure that all students enroll into the programme meet admission requirements
2. The university should encourage non-teaching staff to go for training
3. The university should ensure that adequate precious spaces are provided in the laboratory
4. The university should provide precious spaces in the classrooms with public addressing system
5. Adequate e-resources should be provided

 

The total score for the programme is 69%. It scored 24 (73%)  in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 15 (56%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 0 (0.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
