1. Only 61.5% of the teaching staff benefited from the staff development for the past three years.
2. None of the non-teaching staff have benefited from the staff development within the past three year.
3. Availability of Multimedia Board would add more value to the Language Lab.
4. Funding is adequate but can be improved.

 

1. The University should improve its staff development upon the teaching staff.
2. The University should extend its staff development programmes to the non-teaching staff.
3. The University should provide Multimedia Board in the Language Lab.
4. The funding of the progamme should be improved.

 

The total score for the programme is 92.4%. It scored 33 (89%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88%) in Staffing, 27 (100%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.7%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.3%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
