1. The curriculum is substantially covered as indicated in the question papers and interaction with students.

2. The examination questions do not cover the curriculum.

6. 40% of the academic staff have not benefitted from staff development programs in the last five years; whether conferences, seminars, or training.

8. The classrooms/lecture theaters are not well-maintained.

9. The slow internet connectivity impedes access to e-books and journals by students and staff of the Programme.

11. The University should ensure that there is a multidisciplinary approach to research in the Programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 80.00%. It scored 29 (78.38%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
