The toilet for students in the Department is not adequate in number and non- functional.

There is only one technologists in the Microbiology laboratories.

The Mission and Vision of the Department are not stated in the students’ handbook

The University gives a general punishment of expulsion for all exam malpractices

The total score for the programme is 85.29%. It scored 25.5 (82.26%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
