1. The staff/student ratio of 1:19 does not meet the stipulation of NUC approved guidelines for the programme. 2. 41.7% of non-academic have not benefitted from staff development programme. 3. some essential laboratory equipment such as Chemical Reaction Equipment and Double Jacketted Gas Reactors are not available for the programme. 4. The academic staff offices not furnished with bookshelf and cabinet in some offices. 5. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. The University should ensure a staff/students ratio of 1:15 in line with the NUC approved guidelines. 2. The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from staff development programme. 3. All essential laboratory equipment should be provided for the programme. 4. Adequate number of well-furnished offices should be provided for the academic staff of the programme. 5. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 88.00%. It scored 36 (97.30%) in Academic Matters, 30 (85.71%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
