1. Marking schemes are poorly developed.

2. SIWES are not in operation for the programme.
3. The ratio for proportion of core staff in subject area is less than 50%
4. Less than 50% of non-teaching staff benefited from staff development
5. Internet coverage and accessibility is limited to the premises of the library.

 

1. The university should ensure marks distribution are assigned point by point.
2. The university should students for programme enrolls for SIWES
3. The university should ensure proportion of core staff in subject area is 75% or more.

4. The university should ensure 70% of the non-teaching benefits from staff development
5. The university should ensure Internet coverage and accessibility extends also to other premises outside the library.

 

The total score for the programme is 90.00%. It scored 34.5 (93.24%)  in Academic Matters, 27 (77%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
