1. The programme complied with the NUC staff mix by rank guidelines in only on category (24:29:47).
2. Non-teaching staff are not adequate for the programme.

3. None of the non-teaching staff benefited from staff development programme.

 

1. The university should ensure that the programme complies with the 20:35:45 staff mix by rank.
2. The university should employ more non-teaching staff for the programme.
3. The university should ensure that at least 70% of non-teaching staff benefit from staff development programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.62%. It scored 33 (94%)  in Academic Matters, 30 (85%) in Staffing, 22 (81%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
