1. The university should add more innovative courses as only ARB 402 and ARB 418 were seen.
2. The university should ensure students acquire more hard and soft skills relevant to the programme.
3. The university should engage more core academic staff relevant to the programme.
4. The university should ensure that staff mix by rank is consistent with NUC guidelines of 20:35:45.
5. The University should encourage all academic and non-academic staff to take advantage of its staff development programme.
6. The University should make available more fire extinguishers and sand buckets in all locations.
7. The university should increase the bandwidth for faster internet connectivity.
8. The University should allocate more funds to the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 80.00%. It scored 29 (90.63%)  in Academic Matters, 20 (57.14%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
