1. The staff mix by Rank of 24:48: 28 is not inline with NUC guideline of 20:35:45.

2. Less than 60% proportion of the Academic Staff are core to the subject area.

 

1. The University should ensure that staff mix by rank is inline with NUC guideline of 20:35:45.

2. The University should ensure that at least 70% and above of the proportion of teaching staff are core to the subject area.

 

The total score for the programme is 90.60%. It scored 27 (93.10%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 25.5 (94.44%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
