Studio equipment such as drawing board and stools are inadequate in number and poorly maintained. 4. Classroom furniture and white boards are inadequate in number and poorly maintained. 5. The recommended books and journals for the programme are not current.

1. The University should ensure that all academic staff in the programme obtain their Ph.D degrees. 2. The Institution is advised to employ more technologist to man the computer laboratory and studios. 3. The University should provide adequate facilities in the studios and ensue the existing once are well maintained. 4. The Institution is advised to provide adequate number of classroom furniture and ensure the existing once are well maintained. 5. Th University should provide more current books and journals at the central library.

The total score for the programme is 84.8%. It scored 37 (97.2%) in Academic Matters, 35 (83%) in Staffing, 27 (74.0%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (77.7%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (66.6%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
B. APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION
Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
