1. Practical work does not cover the scope of the curriculum,
logbooks and practical manuals are not adequate.
2. 60% of the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from staff development programme of the university in the past three years.
3. Funding is not adequate for the proramme.
4. Staff offices are not adequate in space.
5. There is no multidisciplinary approach for research and
collaboration with other institutions.

1. Depth and scope of each practical course should be
adequately covered, logbooks and practical manuals should
be provided.
2. The university should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from staff development.
3. The programme should be adequately funded by the university.
4. The university should provide standard offices for all
academic staff of the programme.
5. Research and collaboration should be robust with other
institutions and educational projects should be created for
the host community

The total score for the programme is 85.12%. It scored 27 (81.82%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
