1. The programme is deficient on the lower cadre for academic staff.
2. There was no evidence of staff development for the non-teaching staff

 

1. The University is encouraged to employ more staff in the lower cadre (lecturer 1 and below).
2. The University is employed to train the non-teaching staff in various field, to encourage staff development.

 

The total score for the programme is 88%. It scored 32 (87%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 24.5 (91%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (89%) in Library. The programme scored 1.5 (50%) in Funding, 2 (67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
