1. 58.4% of Administrative staff have not benefitted from the staff development programme.

2. The 3 Laboratories (2 shared and 1 dedicated) are inadequate in Space.

3. Academic staff offices were inadequate in space and not well furnished.

4. Some fire extinguishers were expired and inadequate in number.

5. Books and journals in the physical library are inadequate in number and currency.

 

1. All the Administrative staff should be encouraged to benefit from the staff development programme.
2. The University should ensure adequate space for the 3 Laboratories.
3. Adequate number of well furnished academic staff Offices should be provided.
4. The university should provide adequate fire extinguishers for the Programme.
5. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme in the physical library.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.00%. It scored 36 (97.30%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
