1. The University should ensure that 75% of academic staff are core to the subject area. 2. The University should ensure staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line with NUC guidelines. 3. The University should that all non-teaching staff benefit from the staff Development programme. 4. Standard and adequate laboratory space should be provided for the programme. 5. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 82.14%. It scored 23 (95.83%) in Academic Matters, 27 (77.14%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
B. APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION
Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
