1. The internal quality assurance system exists but is not effective.

2. The staff structure for academic staff is 36: 28: 36 is consistent with NUC guidelines in only one category.
3. 32% of the academic staff have not benefited from staff development in the past three years.
4. Poor network coverage within the library
5. Funding for the program is inadequate

The total score for the programme is 90.40%. It scored 35.5 (95.95%)  in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 16.5 (91.67%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
