1. Practical lessons per semester were found to be insufficient
2. Academic staff development is grossly inadequate
3. Non-teaching staff development is not sufficient
4. Funding is not adequate

 

1. More practical lessons should be encouraged by the department
2. Academic staff development for the program should be stepped up
3. Non-teaching staff development program should be enhanced
4. More funds for the department should be provided

 

The total score for the programme is 91.20%. It scored 35 (94.59%)  in Academic Matters, 27 (77.14%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
